Esta não é a primeira vez que visito o Spacehey e me deparo com comentários de ódio e perfis abertamente odiosos e preconceituosos. Desde o susto com o sangue no ano passado, paramos de postar layouts, o que é justo para a segurança de todos. No entanto, não vejo muita atividade de perfis de ódio aqui no site. Vejo pessoas constantemente abertas N4Zi aqui, escrevendo coisas maldosas e repugnantes em suas biografias, e esses perfis continuam existindo. Não é nenhum segredo que muitas pessoas migraram para este site para escapar do ambiente extremamente hostil e selvagem das redes sociais, especialmente de perfis de extrema direita que espalham constantemente o ódio contra pessoas com deficiência e outros grupos marginalizados. É extremamente importante que o site não permita que essas pessoas odiosas se sintam bem-vindas ou encorajadas, como fazem os atuais “X” e “Tiktok”.
Ter um site que realmente regula e remove esses perfis nos oferece alguma segurança neste ambiente horrível que é a internet. É importante, é confortável. Este problema precisa ser resolvido o mais rápido possível para evitar uma futura tragédia aqui, ou até mesmo mais nazistas migrando para cá, presumindo que ficarão impunes por suas ações.
Spacehey se tornar popular entre pessoas alternativas e grupos minoritários não é coincidência; sentimo-nos mais seguros aqui do que em outras redes sociais onde o algoritmo incentiva ainda mais o ódio. Eu realmente gostaria que os reguladores do site considerassem isso, assim como consideraram proibir a criação de layouts para o bem de todos.

Hello, Guys! :) It's been a while since I posted this blog post, so I came here to add something else. I didn't write this post to create moral panic. If you've never seen anything like this on the site, I'm happy for you! You don't need to worry excessively about it.

I've been here on and off for two years and I do not recall noticing that. But if there are people doing bad stuff like that on here, just report them and block them. This place is way smaller than Twitter and Instagram, it will be gone.

Tem que regulamentar tudo, não só o spacehey. Eu acho que tinhamos que ter uma rede social brasileira mesmo, que siga as leias brasileiras e constituição brasileira. Pra gringo liberdade de expressão irrestrita é algo real e que você proibir um racista de ser racista ou um nazista de ser nazista é = censura e ferir a liberdade do proximo.
Racismo nem discurso de odio é crime lá, então as redes sociais de lá vão tentar empurar isso para outros paises mesmo send crime nesses paises por motivos de EUA querendo dominar tudo sempre até online, como se já não dominasse. Esperar uma regulamentação só dos administradores do spacehey aqui no final não adianta de nada, apesar de concordar com você de certa forma.
Pelo que vi tinham projetos de lei para isso mas nenhum deles era algo realmente bom, pelo que entendi ao menos, ainda eram cheios de problemas, mas não vou mentir que tenho que me informar mais sobre o assunto.
Tenha olhar o aplicativo "Paçoca", eu ja dei uma olhada lá e tudo tratava e era mal feito na época, agora deve estar melhor.

Eu vou dar uma olhada, o unico app que usei até agora BR foi o Poosting, ele tem coisa demais acontecendo, mas eu boto fé que melhore eventualmente. Um que não é brasileiro mas é latino americano, é o Angiru, é um remake do Orkut paraguaio. Não testei ainda, mas sempre recomendo esses dois quando posso.

As vezes sinto que pelo site ser menos conhecido, pode ser mais propício a esse tipo de pessoa, tipo um discord que ainda não saiu da bolha, oque é horrível ja que essas contas continuam existindo em uma rede social que era pra pessoas fugirem disso.

In 2024, people filled the four corners of this site with g0re, it was everywhere, so the site team took down the function of publishing layouts to protect the people here.

This place already has a fairly hard working moderation team that follows their rule of conduct well and has a good enough grasp on what is and is not allowed. I have yet to see the kind of extreme content you're describing in this post and I'm sure if you really did see something like that, reporting it would get it removed most of the time
Although from the replies you're dropping to other comments, it seems your goal is to block any political views that doesn't align with yours rather than just extremist or heavily prejudiced content. So that's a big yikes from me. Hate is bad, but censorship is worse.
If I hadn't seen openly hateful people here, I would never have reported it. But apparently you think everything is about you. So much victimhood! If you're as censored as you say, why do I keep listening to you? What I see most all over the internet is you guys getting involved in everything. If you're not an n4zi, you have no reason to be offended.

"If you're not a nazi, then why are you worried?" because stricter moderation is a slippery slope, you're clearly asking for more than what we already have which is enough. I'm disagreeing with you not because I'm a nazi, but because you're describing what we already have and whining about a non-issue while asking for even stricter moderation. If you see such extremist content, then report it. I'm really curious as to see what exactly you saw and from what you're describing, not removed after reporting it. Or are you just crying about posts some no-name idiot made and no one including you bothered to report?

Because of the first comment, I thought you were mean, now I think you're naive. I've reported several openly racist profiles here, profiles that include this detail and more in their bios. I constantly do my part, just like everyone else, but the reports aren't working, and these profiles remain there, intact and with their followers. I repeat what I said: if this were as well-regulated as you say, I wouldn't have reported it on MY blog. I reported it because I think it's important for people to be respectful of each other. I'd like to be in a place online where I feel safe, and that's it. That's all. But you interpreted a personal, informal report as an attack on you. I honestly don't understand how people can be so cruel, so mean, I can't comprehend it. And apparently reporting this cruelty offends you.

You're not reporting anything with this post. All you're doing is scaring and/or confusing others. But it's clear that no matter what I say, you'll always interpret what I say as defending hate speech because you're stuck in your little bubble.
If you're a third party reading this, just report hateful profiles and trust the moderation team will do their job. They're volunteer mods doing their best despite people constantly berating them. They may work slow at times, but they will get to your report eventually.

While I agree with people saying to be careful as censorship is bad, I also agree that hate is bad. I agree it should be shunned. My only concern however is what justifies as hate to who. Something openly criticizing MAGA for example could be seen as hate to a MAGA person. I think this is why we need to be very careful with the regulation and have it be unbiased. Purely going based off of hate speech that has no factual claims or evidence in their discussion. If someone wishes to for example, explain why they justify something that may be seen as bad, as long as they are explaining themselves and opening a debate I think this is fine. However, blatant discrimination with zero basis should be silenced.

"This is not the first time I have visited Spacehey and come across hateful comments and openly hateful and prejudiced profiles. Since the blood scare last year, we've stopped posting layouts, which is fair for everyone's safety. However, I don't see much activity from hate profiles here on the site. I see people constantly open N4Zi here, writing mean and disgusting things in their bios, and these profiles continue to exist. It's no secret that many people have flocked to this site to escape the extremely hostile and wild environment of social media, especially far-right profiles that constantly spread hatred against people with disabilities and other marginalized groups. It is extremely important that the site does not allow these hateful people to feel welcome or encouraged, as the current "X" and "Tiktok" do.
Having a website that actually regulates and removes these profiles offers us some security in this horrible environment that is the internet. It's important, it's comfortable. This problem needs to be solved as soon as possible to prevent a future tragedy here, or even more Nazis migrating here, assuming they will go unpunished for their actions.
Spacehey becoming popular among alternative people and minority groups is no coincidence; We feel safer here than on other social networks where the algorithm encourages even more hate. I really wish the site regulators would consider this, just as they considered banning the creation of layouts for the good of all.
