Boneventures Pt. 5 (TW DEATH/BONES TW)

Trigger warning for all my queasy friends out there!

My fifth entry will be another small tale about one of my best finds, a entire bluejay wing!

It was winter and I had gone to my local grove of pine trees near a creek. I was originally going to draw some journal entry's about the local plant life and see if anything interested me. I was entering the grove and so far...nothing. I was getting more and more disappointed the more I ventured into the grove. I was nearing the path to the creek when I decided to look around for any bones, feathers, shells and the such. I looked to my left near a few branches and saw what I thought was a couple of feathers. I looked closer and saw that it was a entire wing! It was a brilliant blue color with black stripes and white tips. Unmistakably a blue jay wing! I examined it closer and saw that it seemingly had no flesh attached. I picked it up with my trusty handkerchief and investigated it further. It was just the feathers loosely attached to bone. I made my way home with the blue jay wing in my handkerchief and grabbed a airtight jar to store it in. To this day it is still as beautiful as the day I found it!
