Okay, so at this point it's obvious that I'm obsessed with tabs. As someone who has HHORRIBLE ADHD, I can't stand monoliths of text beyond textbooks and fiction. SOO I have broken my ramble up into tabs for your convenience. Read and respond to what you're interested in, and leave the rest!

Honestly, I’m not above posting straight up copying and pasting lyrics from Hozier’s “Be” from his latest album “Wasteland, Baby!”. There’s this strange mixture of sexiness, resignation, bleak religious imagery, and hope that permeates the entire album. I honestly could devote another blog post dissecting the album, which I may do if I feel like slacking on house-cleaning responsibilities this weekend.
When all the worst we fear let's fall its weight
When the gyre widens on a window, wave breaks
When St. Peter loses cool and bars the gates
When Atlas acts a man and makes his arms shake
When the birds are heard again and their singing
And once atrocity is hoarse from voice and shame
And when the earth is trembling on some new beginnin'
With the same sweet shock of when Adam first came
Be, be, be, be, be
Be as you've always been
Be, be, be, be, be
Be as you've always been
(Lover be good to me)
Be as you've always been
Be like a love that discovered the sin
That freed the first man, would do so again
And lover be good to me (Lover be good to me)
Be that hopeful feeling when Eden was lost
That's been next to our after since the master was crossed
Which side of the wall really suffers that cost
Oh, lover be good to me
When the man who gives the order is born next time 'round on the boats and back
When the body is starving at the border
Or on TV given people the sack
Love, when the sea rises to meet us
Oh, when there's nothing left for you and I to do
Oh, when there is nobody upstairs to receive us
When I have no kind words left, love, for you
Be, be, be, be, be
Be as you've always been
Be, be, be, be, be
Be as you've always been
(Lover be good to me)
Be love in its disrepute
Scorches a hillside and salts every root
And watches the slowing and starving of troops
And lover be good to me (Lover be good to me)
Be there and your stairs you stack
Or be like the rose you hold in your hand
I will grow bold in a barren and desolate land
And lover be good to me
Love, won't you be?
Love, won't you be?
Be as you always been?
Love, won't you be?
Love, won't you be?
Be as you always been?
Love, won't you be?
Love, won't you be?
Be as you always been?
Love, won't you be?
Love, won't you be?
Be as you always been?

I think I will approach this blog from a loose, free-form perspective as opposed to locking myself into particular topics...these will be more of a "What-I've-Been-Up-To" kind of entries. Hopefully you'll find them entertaining...lmao. After all, I've come to chat and make a few online friends, so that's all that matters to me in the end!
To elaborate on the basic info that is already included in my Profile Bio, I tend stick my fingers in a lot of pies...lmao. My current interests revolve around tarot, writing, video game streaming, programming (professionally and for fun), tweaking and improving my spiritual practice, and occasionally making art and digital assets for personal projects.
I like my books T H I C C and B I G, especially when it comes to my journaling and spiritual practices. For those that remember, I posted a little show and tell for my current grimoire, which is shown below. While I think it looks AMAZING, it has structural issues that are problematic enough to cause me to question its longevity. I have finally gave in to my brain’s nagging and re-bought materials for a second grimoire, which I can’t wait to share. For those of you that are invested in such things and are as penny-pinching as I am, cost of materials sits at around $30. I’ll probably dedicated a separate blog post for this escapade, so keep your eyes peeled! |
I finally have made progress with respect to my understanding of planetary magick and the kaballah thanks to some of the wonderful people here on Spacehey. I received a lot of awesome resources and have been blessed enough to have some pretty awesome conversations. Currently, I have felt called to work with Mars for the beginning of my initiatory process. While “Planetary Magick” by Dennings & Phillips is a wonderful resource to have for this, that’s all it is: a resource. It’s almost clinical in the associations that it provides, which there is nothing necessarily wrong with. However I’ve found it extremely difficult to develop any intimate connections with the planetary sphere solely based off of the archetype descriptions it provides. Luckily, I’ve found Lux Saturni and LuxOccultSupply, both of whom are invaluable resources for deeper insights concerning planetary magick and Kaballah. |

I’ve been especially impressed with Lux Saturni, who has accumulated so much knowledge surrounding Hermetic Kaballah, Planetary Magick, and more. It was their Kaballah content that finally made me feel that I had some ground to tree with respect to merely having an elementary understanding of Kaballah to begin with (not including links to The Zohar that spacehey friends have provided me 🙂). It seems like their site is still being maintained as of 2021, so please give them a visit if these topics are up your alley. The Veils of Negative Existence (Ain, Ain Soph, Ain Soph Aur) have been a recent fascination of mine as I stumble throughout my studies. Even more so, Saturni speaks of a Dharmic insight process called The Three Doors, which I can’t even begin to explain in this writing. Regardless, it’s worth checking out. |
I’ve been playing a SHIT TON of Valhiem since I’ve been gone, which is a game that is a Viking love-child of Oblivion and Minecraft. Honestly, it was my only source of stress relief during February. Lmao. I can’t seem to build houses that abide by Euclidian logic though. 😂. They either fall to pieces or bring shame on all that know of my existence. It’s buggy has hell, but still a great game to play alone or with friends. It’s still in early access, but a solid 9/10 in its current state.
