Showcasing my cat! [and talking about her vet visit...]

In a previous post I said I'd upload some pictures of my cat- so here she is!

a photo of a tabby cat sleeping. she's sprawled out next to a laptop in a bed.

She likes to sleep next to/on me when I use my laptop in bed. She has a habit of attempting to sleep on the laptop rather than in front of it, though...

a photo of a tabby cat in a harness and leash. she's curiously sniffing a window with her paws up on a ledge.

She's a very curious and attentive cat. She likes exploring- however we live next to a major road and the cars scare her a lot. She doesn't really want to go outside anymore because of that...

a close up photo of a tabby cat looking directly at the viewer. her eyes are slightly squinted.

She sniffs just about anything. Whenever I cook, I always make sure to let her sniff the ingredients. She doesn't try to eat them- she's just curious. If my mom's cooking, I hold her so she can watch.

an image of a tabby kitten around 2 to 3 months old. she is tucked in, asleep, with her head leaned against a blanket as if it were a pillow.

This is a picture of her from when she was a wee kitten. It always makes my heart melt... She still likes being under the blankets, too. Major con of that is that her affinity for blankets makes it easy to crawl under the covers and lick my ankles in the middle of the night. She's a freak. ^^'

---

Unfortunately, I had to bring her back into the vet yesterday to get her ear infection checked out. Good news is her right ear has completely recovered! Bad news is her left one hasn't... She actually doesn't mind the vet itself, she just meows the whole way there because she's not a fan of car rides. She actually kind of likes the vet because she gets to be on the harness and explore a new place in air conditioning. The vets also really like her.

She does not, however, like having liquid medicine squirted into her ear. The first time I treated the infection she held a grudge against me for weeks... And just as she's now forgiving me, I have to do it again. Auuugh...

She seems to be a bit more forgiving this time- she's asleep on the bed next to me. She just won't let me anywhere near her for hours afterwards... Not that I can blame her. I wouldn't want something cold and wet shoved in my ear twice a day either.

We go back next thursday. Hopefully by then I'll know if I need any extra paperwork to bring her to my dorm this year, and everything will be set up for her. I missed her last year! :'D
