No actually, what do you do? Bc I really do care for this guy, but every time he cries on call, it’s somehow my fault and he says he’ll cut himself, or kill himself
And... I am aware it’s very manipulative but also it’s like.. I don’t want him hurting himself if he actually does do it
He’s done this at least 5 times now? Idk.. I hate whenever he does this but I also never know how 2 handle it

it sucks so much but your best option is to leave. you cannot in any way shape or form make him hurt himself. that's his choice, not yours. hopefully he doesn't choose it. but either way, the result isn't your fault. you do not have to drain yourself mentally to ensure someone else's mental health is upkept

i say you've gotta end that friendship. it's clear that he's suffering mentally, but what he's doing is incredibly toxic, and it won't benefit either of you to continue talking to each-other.

Cut him off yourself, you've already told him to not do it more than once I assume so if he keeps doing this then it's just dragging you along w it, I was in an RS with someone that kept trying to hurt herself and I decided to distance myself because I knew if she did what she said she would do I would be blaming myself for not stopping it.
