Resident Evil 9 (Requiem)

 was glad to see some A while back, somewhere in early June, we got a trailer for Resident Evil 9 and I couldn't be more excited! As someone who absolutely loves RE (and yes, my favorite character is Leon because I like his backstory) I was so excited to see RPD and Racoon City in runs as I watched the trailers. I'm also very glad to see a new protagonist, along with hearing some familiar voices. When I first saw RPD in ruins it brought me back to RE2 and RE2 Remake. (I have an odd and special attachment to Resident Evil 2 for some reason)

While I was glad to hear some familiar voices and all. I'm glad we're seeing a new protagonist. I really enjoyed RE 7 and Village, so I can't wait for Requiem to come out And the fact that I can say "We got RE9 before GTA6" and be right and funny all at the same time is actually crazy. 2026 is going to be a great year for gaming (aside from the whole some games needing ID verification thing now) and I can't wait to see what comes out of that year.
