how july went

Esh? Late for aer blog posts!? What a shocker- that definitely never happened before!!!1!11!

Anyways, July was pretty fun! First I was at scouts summer camp- My last scouts summer camp. Definitely felt very bittersweet. And honestly? Inconveniences aside (like the medics incorrectly IDing my water intoxication as dehydration, refusing to change their minds, and almost killing me), it was so fun. I will miss my team and my grade <3

Two days after camp, I had my highschool grad event! I got my diploma and my yearbook. And while I do have my gripes with my grade, I gotta say, everyone did perfectly with the movie theme. And it was great to finally see my group pic with my friends, on paper! The D&D theme (which we got away with using by saying it's the movie) was peak.

Towards the end of the month, I went to Czechia with my family! It was SUCH a fun trip. Of course, like everything, there were inconveniences. Like the fact our suitcase got flown out 3 days after our flight so I had to wear the same clothes for 3 days. But that can be ignored with how fun and interesting the trip was, I genuinely cannot recommend it enough. The history, the architecture, and the nature are all amazing. And the people are so nice, and always willing to help. I will definitely fly there again someday.

Now vocalsynth releases! Can't be an Esh blog without them.

On the 16th, we got a Vocaloid voicebank for Nurse Robot_Type T! Originally an UTAU synth, this synth is supposed to be a cute robot nurse. I knew about her before this release, and one thing that really stood out to me were her designs. And the vocaloid design? Did not disappoint at all. And while it's not the usual pink or red, I do like the orange accent. And her voice? Amazing. I love how whispery it is.

On the 24th, we got a bunch of Synthesizer V 2 upgrades! The characters that got upgrades are: Tsurumaki Maki, Haruno Sora, Tsuina-Chan, and Kyomachi Seika. Nothing about them really changed, so I don't have much to say about these upgrades.

On the 30th, Anri got a Synthesizer V 2 upgrade, called Arcane RDX! I like the design, it's cute- I like the more full on gothic, rockstar look. As for her voice, not much to say, it's the same as her SV1 arcane voicebank.

On the 31st, day later, dreamtonics released three default vocals! The vocals are Amara, Archie, and Yi Wei. Amara has a warm, rich voice. I like her a lot, I hope to see people using her in the future. Archie has a pretty bright, mid-range voice. He would work pretty well for pop punk kinda songs, I think. He's alright. Yi Wei has a soft, sweet voice. She's not bad, just not really my kind of vocal. I do think she'll have a lot of uses for slower, softer, more emotive songs.
