Never a better time to be addicted to TikTok (also some alternatives I found)

Hello! I'm sure everyone here have heard about the new ID laws that are being made for websites. Love that. This isn't going to be a grand blog telling you that I did a good thing. I didn't do anything good because I got addicted to the scroll over YouTube. This happened last year when I got instagram and decided to use reels. At some point, I joined TikTok for fandom and here I am now. I don't think I will thankfully be affected by YouTube for now but thanks to the new change I will be looking at other alternatives.

Some sites I found that are worth looking at is Bitview (old YouTube vibes), Glomble (take a while to load but that because it just went viral as an alternatives), Vanillo (don't know much but it is small), and of course, PeerTube. I personally only really go on Pony.Tube, My Little Pony only wow, on the website so I can't really tell you about the other servers.

Some other sites I found that aren't video focused are Strawpages (a mobile website builder from my understanding, think Neocities and Nekoweb), and Gaia Online (been around for a long time but I just decided to have a look. I was able to view the forums without the account and people are still using it).

Obviously, these communities are small and may not have every niche at the moment. But going off the many categories on the blogs and forums on here, I think you're all capable of introducing your own niches to these sites if you decide to browse. Find a site you like and have some fun with it.

By the way, if anyone can help me find any other fandom specific websites then let me know. I'm open to joining if the community guidelines, tos, and privacy policy are acceptable to me.
