Fashion Trips and Tips Blogs 2025!!!
Entry One: 2025/08/09
About a week ago I decided that, since I was going to school soon, why not spend the last days going to places with friends, right? So I ended up going to a mega mall with a friend, the biggest one in our area in fact, and try to have fun!
That was the most important part!
So we ended up going (if you know, you know) around 15:00ish to try at least get there before most of the places close up, which we were largely successful with.
It was quite pretty too! Immediately after the elevator there was such a pretty mural (don’t be fooled by the photo, it was at least 9 feet big)
The whole mall was separated into two sections: kinda expensive and **luxury**
But because this is a fashion blog(duh!), let’s talk about the fashion for a bit. If you know me from my Insta, I’m kinda iffy on luxury xD
For me the price = quality AND extras, which is why I love Lolita and most J-fashion brands and styles. I’m not just dropping 320$ on a dress because it’s bland or quietly has the logo on it and that’s it. That’s cheap! I prefer the garment show me WHY it’s 320$, so it having a unique print, or a unique kind of lace or even the way it’s made makes or breaks my spending decisions.
Phew! I got into a little rant, huh? So now let’s look at the actual clothes I liked, alright?
Yay!
Scene #1: Diesel
Kitties!!!! How could I not go in?!
To be honest I haven’t actually thought of buying anything from them before, I have seen some of their clothes, but honestly mostly beanies, on some Harajuku street snaps from FRUiTS and KERA! magazines before, but never in person.
I’d say I was impressed, until I saw the prices of course. I think my soul sunk a little while seeing the price tag for the first item that I liked, but it could be my imagination. Maybe…
It was good quality though, don’t get me wrong, but not really worth it for the price. Or maybe that’s my thrifting brain at work, or maybe since I’m so accustomed to j brands like h.naoto and BPN that for those prices (cough cough 125$ for a lowly poly shirt cough cough) I would expect frills or custom lace, etc. But hey that’s just me.
On to the next one! In which I completely forgot which brand it was for but I’m like 80% sure it was for Channel(?)
Scene #2: Channel(?)
It was so pretty omg, this is mainly why I love going through luxury malls. The way the employees pose and style their mannequins hit so well istg. Like…it’s so simple that it’s almost like a Pinterest outfit! I love taking pics cuz most of the time you can make these outfits with stuff you already have! As someone who constantly is in need of fashion inspo, these kinds of places works wonders for fashion-rotted brains lol!
Also we were traveling from the first side of the mall to the luxury side, on the mode of the two walkways there were so many cute flowers and florals! Even the bridge that lets you travel from one side to the other is brimming with trees and the delightful chirping of birds. I don’t take many photos but here’s one I ended up scraping from my camera roll:
Now onto our next victim!
Scene #3: Antique Luxury Shop(???)
May I say more? It’s so gorg!!!! Legit the backdrop reminds me heavily of the ones that Chinese lolita shop named “Hoshibako Works” uses, don’t you think?
Here’s an example of theirs:
Kinda alike no? Anyways! I legit have no complaints on their clothes, it’s quite literally gorgeous, a twinge of old but in a studious, vintage way. Like if you’re studying in a centuries old library for your final exam kinda vibes. Am I going too far? Maybe. But def worth it.
Price though? Hell nah LMAO
Onto our last one!
Scene #4: Argyle for Days!
Can you tell I did not care about what brands they were at this point? Probably.
But I think it’s Versace? I know it was a European one that’s for sure. It’s so preppy and I love it! Keep in mind with all of these I’m not talking about if I’d buy exactly these garments, rather by can I pull this off with clothes I already own/are obtainable/are my style? I really like this one too, especially the one on the right. Which one do you guys like? Tell me in the comments!
But yeah, after like 320+ stores we ended up getting dessert and leaving soon after. It was pretty fun walking around with my friend, as we‘ll be going to different schools, it’ll be tough not to hang out as much, so I really do really appreciate the constant yapping we did throughout (mostly about getting jobs and trash talking the popular brands, duh), and the delicious desserts we bought too.
But before we get into that, you’re probably asking what did I actually buy for me to go to a literal 300+ shop mega mall?
Literally one shirt from Uniqlo… and I didn’t even take a picture of it too…
So here’s one from the literal official webstore LOL
Okay …after that lol, we went to Yu Cake and (heard me out, okay?) even though each cake was 10$ each of my lordness it was absolutely worth it.
The one I got (jasmine matcha cake) tasted so freaking good!!!! Like literally matcha butter good (technically it was cream cheese but still!), and I recommend it to anyone who’s near one to go.
Obviously I took a picture with momonga as we left :)
So cute right ?
Oh and by the way the dress I’m wearing is the Emily Temple Cute Wafers Camisole JSK (2015).
Here’s a pic for anyone curious about how it looks like:
So yeah that was all for today, it was pretty fun to go hang out, especially with a best friend!
See ya next time!
