Greek mythology poem!

I wrote this poem ages ago but wanted to share!

If I were Psyche sent to be your partner, I’d stay too I’d stay and do as you asked for as long as I could When I hurt you, I’ll do anything asked of me to bring you peace

I’d suffer the tortures I’d sort the seeds even if my fingers hurt I’d collect the golden wool as asked of me, despite the risks I would, without hesitation, go down into the underworld I’d kneel in front of the beautiful Persephone and request some of her beauty

My voice filled with a gentle desperation And after I got the box, I’d go back up No matter what is asked of me, I’ll get it done I’ll get it done to see your smile To hear your laughter and happiness at the outcome If I broke your trust, I’d do whatever is asked of me to fix my mistakes Would you be the Eros to my Psyche?
