Today, it's raining on the blog...

Eternal Sadness

Seeing his window,

He thinks of rain,

Is this for always?

Water, over my face..

He thinks of charades,

Seeing his heroes,

He thinks about change,

Hands cover his face,

Is this for always?

Sad poetry is not always written by sad people, some people just enjoy expressing themselves and if the moment calls for sadness, then I always bring the heat. I have always written sad poetry, usually I am in a sad mood when I start out, but by the time I am done I have changed my mood to be more technical and appreciative, a little bit of emotional alchemy that only advanced practitioners dare attempt.

Have you ever meditated for hours, looking for answers? Have you ever looked over the meta data for hours, seeking answers? Have you ever medicated yourself, looking for answers?

Well the answer just might be a stoic sense of self worth. Maybe you crochet a dope quilt or you set a new speed run record for an obscure retro game title, either way you have created a new instance of yourself. Life is all about instantiation, without it we would be subjugated to a boring life of hard determinism.

Looking out the window, what do you see? A reflection within you, or anarchy? When looking within the self, it would be nice to have a window, with just a faint definition of what the mind percieves the self to be, while also being able to see the actual physical functions of life as well. However, life is not this easy thing that you can contain within a box, wrap bow on top and give to someone who doesn't have it.
