An absolutely body-moving brain-destroying digital single from a Parisian producer duo. Definitely one of my favourite songs to have emerged from the underground in 2018. See also the awesome goa-tinged 999999999 remix, having an almost acid/dark rave quality you don't hear too often anymore.

Genre: Power Electronics/Bedroom Pop

Standout track: For His Own Good

Reminds me of the oddly memorable (dare I say "catchy") tape-looping noise of outfits like Iron Fist of the Sun, Content Nullity or Iron Sight. It's essentially an album of sombre and hostile anthems of a generation that's given up. It's glorious! (fair warning, it does get a wee bit loud in some places)

Genre: Raw Black Metal/Doom Metal

Standout track: Creatures of The Black Abyss

Unrepentantly ugly black/doom crossover project that I couldn't find much info about. If you're in the mood for masterful riffs or technical precision, this might be the wrong album to go looking for it ;p But if you're looking for a unique atmosphere of primitive and unwholesome malignancy, the kind a long abandoned burial site engulfed in unmanaged woodland might conjure, then this might just scratch that particular itch! :3
