Homestuck Animation?!

I haven't posted a blog on here in YEARS but I've been wanting to move away from the social media conglomerates and instead start oldschool blogging more, so here we are!

So as you may know... an official Homestuck animated adaptation has been announced! You can watch the trailer HERE.

It's being done by Spindlehorse, which is Viziepop's (Hellavu Boss & Hazbin Hotel) animation studio. I know there are some controversies around her, but tbh I quite enjoy both shows, although I do recognise their flaws, and the trailer for this project looks promising! Won't beat the original comic, but I'm excited to see the story come to life in animation! A Homestuck animated series is something I've dreamed about for YEARS so I can't believe it's actually happening!!

My main concern is that this means lots of Hellaverse fans are gonna come into the Homestuck fandom... seeing as how toxic both fandoms can be I am NOT looking forward to the chaos it brings LOL. This also defo means there will be loads more fans who've never actually read the comic, which we do NOT need because there's already sm fans who've not read it yet insist they know everything xD

All in all, this is a simultaneously exciting and cursed announcement. I will definitely be watching!
