I'm gonna start strong by saying this.
I've been hurt by religion, by evil and saw a million chances to doubt what's good.
"WHY IS GOD ALLOWING THIS?"
There's no reason He allows something to teach you or hurt you. He can't stop things. When He gave us free will, it means He sees us as people who are creative, who want to CHOOSE what we do. If you really want the God you desire you wouldn't make decisions, you would be a robot, because you can hurt someone, even with good intentions.
Now, does He know illnesses are real? Yes and He explains why. Yes and He says every illnesses will dissappear and no one will cry anymore. He promises a future for EVERYONE.
When God actually killed evil, people forget that story. It's a longer one.
No, hell does not exist. Probably you were taught wrong by the church. In the Bible is clear that when Lazarus was dead, Jesus called it a "sleep" time. And also God says that the dead can't feel or know they exist. Every single soul will be resurrected and given an opportunity to decide to know God.
Now, when you say no, you don't go to a bad place, you know? Because He is such a beautiful God, He gives you death, which is ... what every atheist believes there is. So you'll spend eternity there, it's called Sheol.
I totally get it, all the rage and pain. When I was abused at 9, I prayed for Him to save me. Did He? No. The abuse happened until it ended in some months. I am a CSA victim.
I know God hurt so bad. I also know I am not stronger, but I am in peace when I know He exists. Not because of paradise, but because the way it taught me to live, all the blessings I could get and the beauty of creation made by ... Him and not humans. Do you really see the human body and think it's coincidence? What about space, knowing it had a beginning. Every creation has a creator. I am sorry for everyone who is feeling betrayed. Just know that real Christians will never judge you or make you feel like it's bad to be angry. You are loved and it's okay to be mad at Him.

im under the impression that the christian god is known as omniscient and omnipotent. all-powerful, all-knowing, all-seeing. past, present, future, always— so let me know if im wrong on this.
i acknowledge the sentiment of free will, that it is up to the person to disobey the christian god. however, if he can forsee heinous acts that people perpetrate on a daily basis, why would he allow that, for his creations to be hurt? and if he cant control it, then that means he is not all-seeing, all-knowing, or all-powerful.
so.. he is either all powerful and evil or not all powerful and nice. which one is it?
well, as far as i know he CAN stop it but he doesnt let things happen bc hes mischevous or smthn like that... no, he s testing your faith by either letting you live a peaceful life (due to your faith) or proof your trust in him every time because every dsy you still need him the most, got it? :v it is impossible to describe god's intentions with human emotions because he made our emotions {{{similar}}} to his, but still, not the same nor equal, since ee're not divine, we cant get much understanding of how to explain this. but if youre a good person according to the religious law, you are compensated for your resistance and trust on the lord :3

so he is all-powerful, all-knowing, all-seeing. past, present, future, always. he knows the outcome of everything until the end of time. if he knows it will happen, why does he allow it? why does he let rape, murder, genocide, etc to happen if he knows it will happen and will devastate his creation though he claims to love it utmost? why does he allow (some of) his followers to use the bible, contort the words, and use it to vindicate abuse they inflict upon others if he truly wants what's best for his creations whom he has complete control over? this causes two concurrent things to happen: his people to suffer, and then this tarnishes his name, which leads people astray from salvation. but doesnt he want everyone to reach salvation? im not saying he doesnt exist and that he doesnt love his creation in some capacity, but if he is omnipotent in every facet, it doesnt add up that he is said to love his creation to the umpteenth degree whilst allowing tragedies all over the world to happen. if he can stop them but isnt, he has some kind of evil intent even if not inherently malicious, and if that is the case, he wouldnt be all-knowing. i dont know if you're christian, but im not trying to talk you out of your beliefs or be condescending or anything of the like, it's just my perspective on things.

a child locked in a cage does not have free will. someone being murdered does not have free will. you, being hurt, did not have free will.
what have you learned through trauma, that you could not have learned otherwise? there is no greater appreciation for life gained through a horrible memory than you could achieve through having a life full of love.
god did not help you, did not help me, and has not helped anyone. if you find solace in the idea of a god, that is wonderful, and i'm glad of it. but a god that truly loves us would not leave us to suffer, because pain is not freedom.

This is so real and totally accurate. People blame the things they have gone through in life on God rather than on those who used their free will for wrong and evil acts. Also a ton of fake Christians and churches who look like a clean cup on the outside but have hate and judgement in their hearts. My pastor talked about that exact topic 3 weeks ago. God bless you!
