Werewolves / Beast Spirits

Beast spirits more commonly known as werewolves are a type a spirit that love the taste of meat the reason for this is unknown. These spirits can be found anywhere around Eldera since there able to go anywhere they please since there not restricted by any territory unlike the other types of spirits out there, but there unable to interact with the physical world which eventually lead to there team up with the Goddess of the Wild, Hunt, and Freedom, They now work as blessings and curses. As blessings, they are given to loyal followers as gifts. Blessed hosts are able to transform whenever they want, the change is quick as the giant, wolf-like body of the spirit wraps around its host like armor. In this form, the host and spirit work as one—the spirit acting as a sixth sense, warning of danger before it comes. Even without transforming, the host gains heightened senses, speed, stamina, and strength. As curses, they are forced onto followers as punishment. Cursed hosts must eat raw meat to keep the spirit fed cooked meat is gross to it. the spirit will not allow the host to vomit the meat back up, forcing them to swallow despite the taste and texture. If the beast isn't fed, it will rip itself out of the host’s body in a disgusting and painful transformation, the host skin begins tearing, muscles ripping, bones breaking and elongating, fur growing, and there nails growing into claws. Once free, the cursed werewolf hunts and kills anything it pleases, sometimes targeting things important to the host as punishment for not feeding it. If you survive an encounter with a cursed werewolf but are bitten, another beast spirit can slip inside the wound, making you a host. Escaping a blessed werewolf is possible since at the end of the day its still human and the host will get tired or loses interest, but escaping a cursed one is nearly impossible without silver. Cursed werewolves are not restrained by a host’s will, making them far more dangerous. They can take devastating injuries without slowing down there heads can be blown off, limbs severed, bones broken again and again and regenerating within seconds. They will crawl, twist, and contort their bodies through spaces no living creature should be able to fit through, ignoring all natural limits, its good to remember that werewolves are still just spirits and don't have any true limits. The only way to “kill” a werewolf is with silver. Enough silver damage will sever the spirit’s connection to its host, forcing it to return to the goddess. But once free, the spirit will simply wait for another host, and the cycle will begin again.

1. DON’T STARE INTO THE EYES OF THE BEAST FOR TO LONG it'll weaken you until you can do nothing but lay there as it tares into your flesh
2. Beast spirits have a fast metabolism, which means they get hungry quickly and stay hungry longer.
3. The longer a person is cursed for the more they'll begin to forget things like there names, memories
4. The cursed werewolves are much stronger then the blessed thanks to the cursed not being restricted by its host and its wants and needs
5. on rare accessions cursed spirits can be seen chasing there tails
6. Werewolves no matter if there cursed or blessed do seem to have a connection to normal wolves and can be seen playing with them sometimes
7. Remember, these are spirits first which is why some cursed werewolves appear uncanny: jaws unhinged beyond natural limits, limbs stretched or bent oddly, twisted or misshaped bodies that don’t quite look right.

14. The only real way to get a cursed werewolf to stop its killing early is by getting an old women to throw clothes at it and yell “PUT YOU CLOTHES ON AND TAKE YOUR BUTT INSIDE” its unknown why this works but it does and the beast spirits calms down for a couple of months
