I don't like boba

So for context a new boba place opened up in my country, there were plenty before but this one was hyped up a lot so I decided to try them out and get a feel for what boba tastes like.

It wasn't what I expected. The texture wasn't to my liking...it was like chewing cartilage?? I thought it would have more like a popping texture. The milk base (??) wasn't all that good either, maybe I shouldve mixed it around or smth but even when I did the cool temperatures of the top half of the tea was cold and the bottom was warm so It created this luckwarm taste when I did that.

I'm a sucker for sweets and stuff, but it wasnt just me, a few other people online didnt like the flavor I also picked (it was Oreo Milk Tea btw). My friend insisted she liked it though so maybe my tastebuds didnt pick up on the good stuff.

I did go back again and got an ice cream sundae but...again the ice cream or the milk or whatever they use in there just didnt taste good to me. I liked the cookies and the chocolate syrup but the ice cream itself tasted off to me. 

All in all it was ok, maybe boba is different depending on where you get them, so I might go back and order a different flavor OR just go another place and see if its just that I dont like boba overall.
