OPINION ON BABYMETAL'S NEW ALBUM: METAL FORTH

So this album would be the first album they released ever since I started stanning them. Before anyone says anything, just keep in mind it's my honest and humble opinion. So this would be the tier list: 

S tier - never skipping

A tier - sometimes skip

B tier - could be better, skipping 

FROM ME TO U (ft. Poppy)

S tier; it's really well produced and the chorus is catchy af PLUS THE SYNTHS. to be honest, i knew about poppy for the first time like 8 years ago and i completely forgot about her, wouldnt have known shes a singer now after so many years. absolute bop.

RATATATA (ft. Electric Callboy)

A tier; like it but honestly electric callboy's members voice when they're not growling (sorry idk their names 😩) triggers me off, but as for the rest, it's really good. 

SONG 3 (ft. Slaughter to Prevail)

S tier; i've seen some people having mixed feelings about this one, and i can understand. when you first hear it it's...curious? but the more you hear it the more you like it. plus, MOMO GROWLING!!! (especially otousan, okaasan, oniisan, oneesan) part. And Alex's vocals are wow, seen videos where he doesn't even use microphones in concerts and you can clearly hear him.

KON! KON! (ft. Bloodywood)

S tier; really catchy, the hindi parts fit extremely well with the instrumental. by the way this is the second part of the song bekhauf (in theory, based on the lore i suppose).

B tier; i reallyl hope im not the only one who thinks it, but this makes me think it's the worst babymetal song so far. just the "watashi kawaii" chorus part makes me shiver in a bad way. i really hope i'll end up liking it eventually; it's good that moa tried rapping but i seriously cannot picture any part of this song in a babymetal concert, it's just, ick. 

SUNSET KISS (ft. Polyphia)

S tier; instrumental is peak and i feel like su's voice feels softer than the rest of songs (??), different way of singing. it's good that they experimented with this

S tier; instrumental, chorus and courtney's vocals are amazing. really a good song although not omy favorite one on the album.

ALGORISM

S tier 100%; my second favorite on the album, the chorus it's incredibly good too and MOMO GROOOWLS!! really catchy and it's one of the best instrumentals they have. DEFINITELY a must listen, it sounds like something i'd hear in past babymetal albums (2015-2016). Kind of reminds me of Rondo of Nightmare for some reason.

METALI!! (ft. Tom Morello)

S tier; this one, plus poppy's and konkon are the best collabs babymetal has had (not a brand new day fan sorry). i feel like the public can really interact with this song and would be really fun to listen to live

WHITE FLAME

S TIER!!!!; this definitely reminds me of babymetal (2015) and a little bit of Metal Resistance (2016). they HAVE to keep making songs like this in my opinion, i miss these type of songs in babymetal's new songs plus the instrumental it's BEAUTIFUL. don't get me wrong, i love babymetal and how they like exploring new genres, but there's just something different about babymetal's original essence. AND that guitar solo too. This is a fan favorite, so hopefully kobametal will listen to the public's opinion and decide experimenting with this genre more.
