As someone who's genderfluid, this frustrates me to hear. I already have problems with my own mind yelling at me that I'm faking my dysphoria. I don't need other people to go on and say I'm not supposed to exist because I'm right here.

i just found out people view non-binary identities as a stepping stone for binary identities??? what???

definitely not everyone. most people i know see nonbinary as a spectrum. the ones who aren't as fussed about learning just sort of see it as a third gender. but yeah, there are definitely some people who think it's a pipeline. perhaps from experience? most binary trans people i know went from cis, nb, binary trans. but that doesn't make it any better, ur experience is still valid and you're not some "stuck in the middle" phenomenon, you're just you :-)
thank you :') the entire discourse just leaves me frustrated with big feelings.
