retroslop is a stupid, useless term - RANT

if you play roblox a lot, especially as of this past month or two, you've definitely seen the term retroslop. retroslop is a term that was SUPPOSED to mean "someone who's avatar is trying too hard to imitate early roblox, despite their account not existing during that era". now its literally just boiled down to "an avatar i don't like that's accessorized in ANY WAY". 

you can tell that this term is really stupid. SO STUPID. 

people (not hating ((i am hating)), but its usually those dahood, gag, or brainrot players that tend to use this term often) constantly harass people over the stupidest things now. if someone doesn't like your avatar in any way, be prepared to have someone call it retroslop and totally start shitting on you for it. 

and these people tend to forget all about gooner avatars. the game is made for kids, it always has been. so what if the stupid ceo's trying to add a dating app part to it or something, that's for ADULTS. THE MAIN PART OF ROBLOX IS THE FACT ITS FOR KIDS!!! and we got avatars in skimpy clothing, doing or saying inappropriate things to others, and being totally weird. those people also hate on "retroslop" avatars, check yourself.

and they always misuse the term too. i cosplay as 007n7, the actual hacker avatar that the forsaken character was inspired of. because of this, my avatar looks pretty outdated.. BECAUSE ITS A COSPLAY OF AN AVATAR FROM LIKE REALLY EARLY ROBLOX. i'm not trying to look "retro", i'm just dressing up as a roblox hacker. and yall... the amount of times i've been harassed and mocked is INSANE. some couldn't even be in the same SERVER as me, all bcuz of my avatar. sensitive much?

this also goes to dandys world players. i never really got into it, i was much more into their other game, flavor frenzy, and i totally understand that the fandom has its bad apples, all fandoms do. all fandoms, from fnaf to forsaken to eddsworld, all fandoms are gonna have its shitty sides. but just because the darkshippers/proshippers are louder and have a bigger chance of getting viral, it shouldn't downplay the amount of good things in a fandom. 

dandys world players, as well as forsaken players, have a much higher chance of getting called retroslop because of their fandoms. its really dumb, people need to quit acting like the fanart of two men kissing killed their grandma. if you don't like a fandom, just keep scrolling. 

at the end of the day, it doesn't even matter if your avatar is considered "retroslop." what matters is that you like how your avatar looks, and that self-expression is something that people are constantly taking the fun out of now. add the fluff, add the gubbies, add the confetti and the overpriced keychain waist accessories (cause to be fair, i'm not paying like 80 robux for a small tamogatchi on my waist, but you do you), whatever you wanna do, just do it.
