I found out from my mother that someone in my church (she forces me to go.) had said something negative about my hair. my hair isn't long but it isn't short, it's curly not coiled. it was literally just in a high ponytail and like that's all. it wasn't too much or too little. I LOVE MY NATURAL HAIR, AND JUST FIND BRAIDS OF ANY KIND RESTRICTING. my church is full of African-american people (its a small church.) and I find it absolutely baffling that anyone, man or women thinks they have the right to comment on anyone's NATURAL hair. I literally don't care if their bald or have hair like rapunzel. ITS RUDE AND SHOULDN'T BE NORMALIZED.
MORAL OF THE STORY: DON'T JUDGE PEOPLE FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY NATURAL OR FOR SOMETHING THEY CAN'T PERMANENTLY JUDGE.
