Let me wear animal ears in PEACE

So I just learned the word "Kemonomimi" and LOVE this for character designs. It can add so much to their personality and mannerisms. For example, a panda kumamimi (bear ears) can be oblivious to all situations they're in because of their lack of awareness. Depending on the media, these characters are always a hit or miss. The author's willingness to share their fetishes plays a MAJOR part unfortunately...

Kemonomimi in real life though (CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG) is just regular people wearing ears/tails for aesthetic reasons. I AM IN LOVE. Ears can totally be just an accessory. It's so cutesy and fun! It's simple, I view ears the same way I see hats. I do know that animal ears and tails have been apart of alternative spaces for awhile. Like the tail keychains for belts is a 2010s staple. I just wish they were easily accepted like lowrise jeans or newsboy hats are. 

I just want to wear animal ears casually... I know wear what I want. Not everything has to be normalized. I do wear what I want and half of the time I am over dressing. I am very comfortable with my personal style. I just want the negative association with ears/tails gone. Personally, I think the type of ears I would wear include: snow leopard (sooooooo pretty and idc if they're nothing like me), any bat (I do not know enough to have a favorite but it's for the same reasons as snow leopards), raccoon (I think I would be a raccoon), or red pandas (my favs and me). 

Disclaimer, I am not a furry myself, but I am pro-furry. I really do not understand the utter disdain some people have for furries. Yeah there might be some bad furries or furry related incidents that happened, but as long as you're not a weirdo and do basic hygiene. We can be friends (plus I will ALWAYS take financial advice from furries most of them have government jobs anyway).

This is getting a bit long... I have unfortunately forgotten a lot of my animal knowledge over the years TT I should watch Wild Kratts more tbh. If yall have any thoughts or opinions comment below !! What type of ears would you wear?
