Title: Glass Doll

Once I had to fight with myself, there was a clear loser. Where creation was discovered, I had pushed over a sunken rock to find a bruised and betrayed girl with shards of glass underneath her skin. The mirror of shattered pieces had been digested and become one with her. Brilliant glitter of glass floated through her blood and mimicked the cells, when she sneezed…the forest animals ran across all directions as if lost in their own world. Was there a place for them outside of the tree shadows, lost in stone, with nails full of dirt. Did they create art within a bite of food and a breath of air, drinking from a lake, and birthing live into the circle. Will we ever find the glass in their bones.

An attempt at non-fiction.

Title: Beach Without Sand

I woke up to find that my heart had not been beating. The abuse had become desperately hot, the skin between my breath and lungs had been replaced by the sun. She could not be asked to move, despite the pounding. Only could the water move her to a destiny that awaited. Where on any, if not all occasions her mother never reminded her of the consequences to a delicate skin against radiant beams. The melted ice cream from a corporate warehouse in a bottle had replaced her moisturizer but now she was cursed by the red skin. The pain would not set in for another day, if at all, and one would ponder when thin skin might become more resistant than iron and stone after all her disobedience.

Any thought? let me know.
