ill update this or just make a new post after i see weapons tomorrow, but have u guys seen any of the horror movies released this year? ive seen fd bloodlines, sinners, clown in a cornfield, together, hell of a summer, marshmallow, and bring her back. so far my fav horror movies were fd bloodlines and sinners, clown in a cornfield gets a honorable mention it was pretty funny
did NOT like together i thought it was just meh :/ bring her back was good but killing off the main guy and letting the foster mom live pissed me off

I havent really been watching as many new horror movies this year as much as id like. Im the designated driver between my friend and I, she had to run around and do some stuff so i decided to see the new 'I know what you did last summer.' while i waited for her.
ill be honest, the closest thing ive seen from any of those movies was the tiny reference in scary movie so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
Id say i didnt hate it but i certainty didnt like it, yknow? I liked some of the characters but typically slashers are a lot of the same especially reboots of slashers. however i enjoyed it, i love a good bad movie.
Before that, the last new horror movie i saw in theaters was longlegs and i love that movie a bit too much lol
ya i get what you're saying & i love a good bad movie too LOL. i remember not really liking longlegs when i saw it in theaters but i haven't watched it since so maybe my opinion will change on rewatch :d the only movie i can think of this year that was anything close to longlegs is probably bring her back so you could try that if you have the time

Ohh yeah i def will thx! and yeah i understand not liking longlegs, ive seen so many people love it or hate it but idk i loved nick cages performance and the sound design was also pretty good imo -^-

I just saw I know what you did last summer, it wasn't amazing but it is more of a comedy horror than anything. The best horror movie I've seen in a long time is Lamb(2021), the acting was really good and the effects are just right, not too crazy but also pretty crazy.
yeah comedy horrors usually don't go all out, at least it was a serviceable film :p i'll check out lamb next weekend, thanks for the rec!!
