I went to the arcade at the mall yesterday. My mom needed to return something so I tagged along because there's a cool arcade at the mall that has anime stuff and rhythm games.
We honestly only popped in for a second. I usually sneak in at least a few Bemani games in my gameplay time, but yesterday I only played games that I can't play at home so no Bemani lmao. I have a IIDX and Sound Voltex controller at home. It was also VERY hot in there so I skipped DDR entirely. Instead I played Wacca and Chunithm because I can't play those at home. I didn't take a picture of my Chunithm scores fast enough but I did get my Wacca scores:

I tried hard and found it too easy, tried extreme and still found it too easy, and then I tried a level 13 on extreme and got my ass absolutely demolished. It was fun though! I love Wacca and I can only play it at the arcade so I gotta make the most of it when I can.
Anyways, there's this timing-based prize figure machine that I'm really good at too. Basically you have to stop a light in front of the figure you want, and if it lands the figure will move forward a little. Move it forward enough and it'll drop and you can get your prize. I am UNBELIEVABLY good at this machine because I play a lot of rhythm games. I got good rhythm and timing, which means these figures are unbelievably easy for me to get my hands on. So I won 3 lol. I've actually had my eye on this Miku figure for a LONG while. I am a massive fan of Hatsune Miku so I have like a bunch of figures of her. I really like project Mirai and Project Diva too so This outfit and the song it comes from are pretty great in my opinion. I'm glad I won her instead of buying her outright, makes her special.
I honestly haven't seen Frieren yet lol. I know, I know, I need to get to it. All my friends say it's like such a me coded anime that I just NEED to see it. They say it has a lot of silly RPG gags that I'd find silly and also the main character is very asexual coded so I'd get really into that too. That and apparently the characters are really good and that's the main thing I look for in an anime. I'll get to it soon I promise lol. Funnily enough, despite that this is my SECOND Frieren figure lmao. Wanna know how I got the other one? SAME MACHINE LAST TIME I WENT TO THE ARCADE LMAO. Asexuals attract each other I suppose. Anyways I actually almost didn't get her, but I decided to go back for her before I left.
As for Shinso, he was so close to the edge when I got there. Someone must've tried to get him and just couldn't and then gave up lol. He only needed 2 more pushes though lol. Basically, he was so close to the edge that he was basically free lol. I'm not a MASSIVE My Hero Academia fan, but I do like the show a lot and I like Shinso as a character so no complaints here.
I love the arcade! As a rhythm game fan it's like the only place I can play some of my favorite games so I am more than happy to support them and keep them alive. And as a fan of cute things and anime I also get to play around with the crane games and other prize machines and get some fun stuff lmao.

No way they give people figures on arcades. We get candy here lmao
It's like a Japanese chain so there's a lot of anime merch and plushies and stuff there. The machine I got them in is like a claw machine but the rules are kinda different because it's less luck based I guess lol. I mostly go for the rhythm games, but I like claw machines too. There are ticket redemption games there too I just don't like those as much haha I do think you can trade tickets for anime merch too though
