THREE weeks of spacehey!!

i'm posting this a day early AGAIN because i have a job interview tomorrow and i need to focus on that more than documenting my experience separating from more "convenient" social spaces on the internet

so i cut off one of my closest friends within that previous week that i last left off, and i've been trying to deal with my feelings with that (since she was equally really grounding for me but also not supportive enough from her side of the friendship. maybe i'll go back to her, idk). however, i haven't touched instagram for more than ten minutes since i downloaded screenzen last week!

i DID loosen my restrictions on tumblr a bit because i don't deem it AS short form i guess?? it's text posts more often than not, so it's not like i'm getting sucked into doomscrolling through short video clips. i'm actually taking the time to READ what people write (especially if it's fanfiction)

i've been crocheting more often than not, writing stuff that you guys may or may not have seen. i haven't picked up my bass a ton because i've been a little busier this week than last week. i've also been watching more video essays (like...almost three hours long) about topics that interest me

animation, amusement parks, even pieces of literature and the effects that deleting social media can have on you. i personally like defunctland's longer video essays that he's started putting out in recent years

on top of reading text posts on tumblr, i've also gotten back into READING reading. i've been reading a chapter of a book every night for the past week to calm my brain down from staring at screens all day, it's honestly one of my better decisions. i have so many books to get through honestly, i might start bringing one out with me to read in my spare time

i think that's all i have to update?? i might start posting poetry on here on top of my fanfic stuff, lemme know if you'd be into that. might diversify my fanfics too since i've mainly been working on my illi mcmillin fanfic since i started writing again
