Whoopsies. Music of the weeks 2025 part one.

Soooooo...haven't posted a playlist of the week in a long while. wowie. whoopsies. originally I was intentionally avoiding spacehey because I was too tired to finish my profile and I was embarrassed of the state it was in and then I was accidentally avoiding spacehey because I have been asleep and also tired. as I said. whoopsies.

But I have made a playlist for literally every week this year so far! hooray. That's way too many to add to a blog post, so I'll just add my favourites. I've been having a tough time this year and it feels really stupid because nothing has happened like literally nothing at all but you know. The brain understands very little and the heart understands less <///3

LIKE SUNDAY MORNING

    Christmas week!!!! I was so sad before Christmas because I was just convinced that I'd lost something that I couldn't get back and that was why it didn't feel as joyful anymore but no. Christmas was unconventional but just fine. My grandfather came to my house and then showed me how to drive and then I cried a bit and then I went to my aunt's house and this is a horrendously structured sentence I'm so sorry TTwTT. anyways. I was so joyful because I got a teakettle !!!!  I spent the rest of the week in a weird mood.

     This one was split into two. It simply felt right. New years, huh? I was going to write out hopes and goals and such and burn them but I could not find my lighter and I could not think of any hopes for the new year, so I did not do that. I didn't get to watch the ball drop and we didn't have any cider, but I went outside to see the fireworks (that gave me a headache) and called a friend and talked to her for a few hours, and then had a pretty good week. Joyful :]

    I do not remember much about this week at all if I'm being honest </3. All I know is around here I got back into the groove of making these playlists and I spent this whole week devastatingly sad. Sometime around the end of this week, I made the last entry on the last page of my journal.

    Another sad week. I cannot describe any of what this week felt like and I'm not going to try. I sort of like the playlist though. Hooray.

    worst migraine EVER for like two and a half days this week and then I was sad and emotional because I got off birth control on this week so get ready for the worst period ever !!!! But I figured out my favourite tea combo this week, started a rewatch of Benson ( love love love Benson ), and read a bunch of fanfictions. 
    On the topic of fanfictions, I keep a list of recommendations on my phone with links and personal notes and I am going to share some here because this is my blog and I can do anything I want to.

16,078 words, oneshot. Malleus's coronation is coming up, and he realises the people time has taken. Very (not sorrowful and not surreal but a word similar to that), and very beautiful. one of my absolute favourites. read here.

tw! suicide. 57,996 words, eighteen chapters. Jamil attempts suicide with the knowledge he is expected to serve Kalim forever, and almost succeeds. He falls into a coma instead, leading Kalim to want to make a better world for him. In do so, he works on himself. Angsty fix it fic. I remember sitting in the corner during gym class reading as it updated lols. read here.

    This one was all over the place and I mildly disliked it at the time but I love it now because that mild dislike is what encouraged me to do better with the ACTS and also I just. genuinely enjoy listening to it lols. Also, at the end of this week me and a few friends made a Sonic Movie Human Relationship Chart lols. We were planning to do a sonic movie marathon including the Knuckles show (because none of us have seen the knuckles show yet, and only one of us (me) has seen all three movies), but that did not quite happen. Schedules did not line up.

    This playlist feels genuinely wonderful. I don't know how much I can say about it, I just remember deciding to try to see the good in life. Silver linings and all that. Also! I got bored one morning on call and made Z nation season three era wallpapers :D It was real fun to sit down and work on, and I use the Warren one on my second desktop !

WAITING (ACT II: OF RESTRAINT)

    This week was a part of the start of March, and therefore the start of Scratch Writing Camp in March! I've never been very good at SWC, but I love doing it! Also I believe it was around here where I got really into NitroType again, though I regrettably dropped it around the beginning of July. I need to pick it back up lols

PREEMTIVELY MOURNING (ACT II: OF FEAR)

    Sad, sick period week for meeee! Exactly what it sounds like. The music here is so good I adore it, and I wrote Helena Joy, or Winter's Daughter during this week as an SWC daily (though I never quite finished it). I also started working on until no end ! don't read the version I made as a daily it's sort of bad. Also on this week I saw an edit of The Man that was so Important to me for like two months it was very serious lols

    I think I gave up on the acts a little bit here lols. All I remember about this week is that I did a handful of face studies and that was the most fun I'd had in a hot second lols. Sat in my game room with the large window and felt like everything would be okay. It was nice.

I'm sleepy now, so I'll put more from this year in another post. I've been slacking on these. I think at the end of this year I'll retire the whole concept. It's already gone on for over a year, which I think is much too long.
