Can't go see laufey cuz of trump :(

Ok so as everyone knows trump and ice have been very out and about lately with new policies and so much arrests and crap, I wouldn't say it ruined my summer, but it definitely made it more crummy. We dont really go out anymore for fun but we've done some stuff every so and then. We used to go to a flea market 3 hours away every few weeks in the summer, but my parents say we're not going anywhere an hour radius from our house unless we have to to be safe from ICE (my parents are immigrants, should have said that sooner) in June laundry announced her concert for her new tour, and I had really wanted to go, I have even talked about it months and months before to my dad and he said he would take me to Chicago to her concert to go see her when she'd announce her tour. It was really exciting to see her finally announce it and I texted my dad but he reminded me where not going anywhere that far this summer (Chicago is like four hours away, it's the closest city with a concert). I was pretty bummed out about it and I'm even more bummed out because of the current situation that just keeps getting worse. I know that going four hours to see a music artist is a privilege anyways, and maybe some will say this is just a stupid first world problem, and maybe it is. But it is an aspect of the bigger picture, my mom wants to move to Mexico and my dad wants to wait it out, so I'm not sure what will happen. 

I pre ordered a signed copy of her album, so I'm excited for that I guess
