Though it's cold and lonely in the deep dark night, I can feel pathos from the patio light.
Stop reading this blog! I gotta know right now, before we go any further, do you love me?
Will you love me forever? Do you need me? Will you never leave me? Will you make me so happy and read my blogs the rest of my life?
Or will you show me pathos, standing in the patio lights?

What the helly is that thing? A demon in my blog?
At least it's not a demon in my life this time, you know? I have gotten used to battling demons but it does get tiresome to fight inhuman monsters all day...
Anyway, here is my recipe for Steinman-style meatloaf:
1 ½ pounds ground beef
½ pounds Italian sausage
1 large egg
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
1 cup dried bread crumbs or panko
salt and pepper to taste
Combine ground beef, Italian sausage, onion, garlic, milk, bread crumbs, and egg in a large bowl; Add salt and pepper. Bake in oven at 325 degrees until no longer pink in the middle. Place oven on high broil until top of meatloaf is brown on top.
It's actually called polpettone, because you are using Italian sausage. You could also add Italian seasoning mix as well for flavour, and make a sauce to top the loaf, made from mostly tomato paste, a small amount of yellow mustard, Dijon mustard and brown sugar for taste.
