i like burning music onto CDs. its my favorite (this practice is kind of illegal depending on how you use the cd) pastime. If youd like to get in on the fun, heres a guide onĀ how to burn a CD in this decade (it's a little hard to do)
1. Buy blank CDs or use any that are lying around. Most stores dont sell them, but you can go on AMazon. Preferably buy Verbatim discs, because I tried using another brand and the CDs did not burn.
2. go to your local library. Unless youre able to burn your CDs at home, youll probably have to go to the library in or der to do it. Where I live, the library computers have a disc drive, but i dont know for anywhere else.
3. If youre on a macbook, i dont know what to tell you, but if youre using windows, open up windows media player and click on the tab that says "burn" because it should give you info on your disc and whatnot.
4. OH yeah,,,,, DOWNLOAD MUSIC FIRST! just search up "[whatever album/song] download free" or do whatever you must to get the music you want into the computer you are using.
5. Once you have your music ready, click "start burn" and let thr computer do its magic!
you should have a burned CD. I might have left out some extra info, so if i did please do let me know. im awful at explaining things.

I've been getting a bit into putting music on blank cassettes lately! There's just something kinda magical about using physical items to store and play music.
I would do the same with CDs, but my portable disc player I used to use got messed up after the batteries in it leaked. I cleaned it up as best as I could, but something funky must have happened to the circuit board. Maybe someday I'll get it working again.
