cousins

Has anyone else lived the experience of being introduced a cousin in a way like "Hey, remember your cousin ? He's so nice, isn't he ?"??

Because what do you mean "do you remember your cousin". Who is that dude ? He looks 5 years old and I have never seen him in my whole life. This is a stranger. He shares 0.000000001% of our ADN. You can't just grab random children in the street and say they're my cousin. No they're not ! XD

But yeah... will always be confusing to me. They pull some random relatives you never met and suddenly you learn you have 50 aunts, 853 cousins, 3 hidden sisters and a step dad ??? What the heck ???
