ik i haven't posted much of my writing here yet... >.<
I haven't mostly bcuz a majority of my poems are written when I'm feeling strong emotions, so they're pretty personal and i'd prefer not to share. additionally, i haven't started any new writing projects nor am i too good at writing short stories.
WHICH IS WHY I CAME HERE TO ASK FOR HELP!
common issues i see/feel when i write short stories/write anything in general is:
1. it feels too descriptive. idkhow to specify/clarify what I'm tryna say in a way that sound fluid/nice?? i always get stuck on a sentence while a write, idk how to get the scenes in my head onto a page :<
2. ideas??? i hate that I'm not a magical wizard that can just create a bunch of ideas??? i have found some prompts but i give up like halfway because i feel like it's not good enough :,(
advice anyone?

With the idea stuff I’d say watch more media/read more books in a genre that you don’t usually write in or like to watch. I feel even if you still don’t write in the genre after it opens up new themes that you could incorporate into your writing ^^

1. Use wordhippo it helped SO MUCH I swear you can learn and attain a lot of synonyms and/or definitions that you think fits well with your sentences
2. Read, read, read! Books, both digital nd physical are very pricey but there are always free ones on the internet (internet archive for example, has a lot of published books you can download and read on PocketBook which is another app I really recommend if you don't have the Books app)! I also obtain inspiration from watching old films, but whatever resonates with u!
