Hyperfixation Talk

So i’m in sort of a dilemma. If you read my interests on my profile, it doesn’t take a lot to know that I really like anime. HOWEVER! The school I go to is hypercritical of everyone and everything (kind of like a middle school version of The Heathers or Class of ‘09. Not that I would know anything about that game, I just know it’s similar to The Heathers in a way), ESPECIALLY when it comes to openly expressing your interests, your appearance (outfit and all), and doing what you want. Imagine wanting to express yourself in 2025 lmao. My problem is that I want to wear clothes that are tied to anime or my favorite aesthetics (scenecore and dark academia, btw) without making it obvious that I like that sort of thing or making it my entire outfit respectively. (Maybe like a pin that has a neon-colored star for scenecore, as an example)

If you have any idea where I can look PLEASE TELL ME!
