As much as I love the internet, I’ve been thinking about going more analog recently. (And digital obvi, but ykwim)
MP3 players, CDs, cassettes, records for music
An old camera for photos
DVDs and VHSs for movies
Physical games instead of an online library, or modded devices like my 3DS and PSVita for games
A flip phone for calling and texting
I would still check my accounts and online places of course, just hopefully less frequently. I feel I need to live in the moment and stop comparing myself to others who are more ahead of me in life. I get jealous and depressed just seeing what others have that I wish I was capable of achieving. I know I am capable, but at my own pace. I know I’ll be much happier and productive when I stop doom scrolling :)
I know one day I’ll achieve my goals but I’m just taking everything one step at a time. I’m slower than others, but as long as I was better than yesterday, I know I’ll eventually grow into the person I want to be. Saying all this stuff is cheesy and embarrassing, but I really needed to hear it years ago.

Yeah switching to that does seem more desirable especially since streaming services are going up and AI and needing ids for websites. I got a cd player for my birthday a while back and already have some cds.
