Formal Name: Magus cor
Discovery: Ancient Mesopotamia (Akkadian)
Classification: Mythical
_____
As energy beings, they appear in many forms, but are commonly seen as ball lightning or particles with the five elements. They represent magick itself and the Five Sects that make up living creatures.
Depending on their mass and amount of energy, they can be slow or fast or can disperse themselves back into single particles and leave their inhabiting body.
The culture of magicae is airossiry and focuses on the beliefs and practices of witchcraft, natural medicinals, spirit/aura work, auramorphy, shapeshifting, and ancestral, ancient practices of magick.
Physiology
The height, density, strength, and mass they present completely depends on the age and power of the magicae. They can also take on different forms and bodies due to connecting to the electricity in living beings and the atmosphere.
Currently, their bodies tend to be between physical and non-physical. Magicae are persistent and exist everywhere, in every cell, in every drop of blood, in every creation and being.
Body Categories
Natural: Natural bodies are energies and natural phenomena such as ball lightning or gem elixirs/holy water/moon&sun water.
Inhabiting: Inhabiting bodies are living creatures taken over, born with, or connecting to magicae energies. An example could be Lwa spirit possession.
Created: Created bodies are artificial magick energies (made by human or animal) that absorb real magicae in order to persist. This could manifest as imbolc fire magick, as this magick does not come directly from a magicae but is invoked.
Magicae can be nonhuman, human, alien, an object etc, because their body is completely dependent on what they choose and the beings latch onto the spirit/soul.
