I know it's kinda late to start talking about it now considering its been basically a week since the concert, but it was truly awesome. I really love this band and have been passionate about it for years now, finally getting to see them has been one of my lifelong dreams. The messaging of their show was very anti propaganda, and I feel that comes at a very relevant time considering the state of the world right now (especially if you live in the U.S.). You can tell that a lot of the theatrics and lore have been planned in advance, that takes a lot of hard work and dedication. Furthermore, I noticed how overwhelmingly happy they seemed during the show. When looking at old footage/pictures of their original performances of The Black Parade, it became apparent to me that they almost never smiled compared to now. In fact, I don't think I ever saw them smiling during their original touring of the album, so its great to see them being so happy performing something that was traumatic for them to make. Being able to get past the pain and reclaim something like that, adding lore to the album some 19 years later, really shows how much they've healed (and also that they never lost passion for their craft). I'm glad they were able to bring this experience to us, being at that show made me feel like I belonged for the first time in years.
