I'm bad with names.
I'm bad at remembering them and i'm bad at making them up.
I went most of my writing life not giving names to characters, they're mostly useless. Titles are better.
Anyway!
I started coding my visual novel.
It won't have a linear gameplay (like a book) but instead will let you choose various thing to do, values will go up and down and it will lead to various endings and routes.
no rout will be incredibly long (except the super secret "Long route") the game will focus on replayability and collecting all them endings.
I can't wait to have a playable demo ready to share with the world >w<

ugh yes. i have to ask someone their name a hundred times until i start remembering it. and even then i'm like "oh god am i getting this wrong i should check to make sure" lol. also terrible at naming characters. i always just google names that mean something similar to their personality and something that fits their cultural background and go with that
i actually met a woman i'd spoke with just weeks prior the other week, and i had to cleverly avoid saying her name so that i wouldn't have to ask what it was again lol. so embarrassing. tbf she didn't remember mine either
