((I’ve collected some questions from friends for Bulb, your local clutter goblin! If you have any questions for them, feel free to leave them in the comments!)
Dear Bulb;
My plants keep dying… do you have any tips on keeping them alive?

TO BLACK THUMB-
I am no gardener. I forage my food from the forest, and trade goods for food at the local market, too. But I do know that plants like being talked to, and being listened to. They will tell you with yellow leaves and black spots what they like and don’t like. A good spot to listen to what they want and need, if you can’t hear them, is also the instructions that come with seeds. I’ve got a few packets, and they tend to say how much water a plant needs, or how much sunlight. These will help you understand the plant language, and with time, you can become fluent. Think of it as a dictionary.
Although, I’ve also heard from the local witch (she likes my mushrooms the best of all the goblins), that even if you’re doing all that you can for a plant, they will still die. She says this is because someone meant you harm, and the plant took the brunt of the attack. I think that its because life is weird and finicky, sometimes. And sometimes, we do our best and its still not enough. And that is fine. The important part is we did our best.
