so i noticed that a sweeping majority of new users have the default no image available pfp. which tbf is prob a bug of some kind but it got me thinking nonetheless. anyway hear me out but what if this was a thing that was implemented entirely as a safeguard against unwanted gore/troll accs???
for instance, new users wouldn't be able to upload pics or edit their html/css until a certain requirement was met (e.g. acc is x days old / has posted x amount of times etc.)
sure, some ppl would still jump through the hoops and then troll relentlessly at the end of it. but at least we could laugh at them for making all that effort, only to get b& at the end of it. plus, if that happened to them, would they really want to go through all that again? i def see it as a viable deterrent but what do you guys think?

I don't think its a bug it takes about a day for pfp to be added i think due to server load times
for using this as a save guard ehhhhhhhhhhhh
spacehey has a low retention rate and blocking people from one of the bog draws of the site only make it worse. maybe something like a new user icon next to a name.

Oh, I went through that, though it only lasted a few hours... I created my profile about three days ago. The first day, in the early morning, I didn't understand why the image wasn't loading, but I brushed it off and continued filling out my bio. Then I fell asleep, and by early in the morning, it had already updated.

Preeettty sure this is a bug that’s been going on for a lil bit now actually
prob is a variation of the same bug but oh mannn - literally dozens of new users exactly the same lol
