Okay, so.
When I was like 10-12 years old I made a world called Geonath. It was medieval, magical, had floating islands and hidden underground societies. I made over 50 characters to inhabit this world and then I forgot about it. I didn’t think about it, didn’t revisit it in years. It had just been collecting dust and dirt in my dad’s old high school notebooks and long forgotten gacha games. It was a time in my life that I rather forgot anyways since I was a mess in my preteen years.
But there was one thing that pops in my short-attention span ridden mind: Lucas. He started as a silly doodle on my friend’s shoe. Then I kept drawing him in the margins of my notebook occasionally. I gave him a face. I gave him odd hair. I even deemed him worthy of my favorite utensil at early teenage years: a blue ink fine tip marker. His face bled through my papers but I didn’t mind.
I kept drawing him again and again. I put him in a group called “The Representativevs” the characters that I would draw to represent my thought and feelings. Erot for when I was anxious, Necro for when I’m feeling pessimistic, Zulu for when I feel oddly optimistic, and Lucas for whenever I felt intelligent. More time passed and he became synonymous with intelligence for me. Mainly because whenever I got really lost in the sauce called “mechanical jargon” I would doodle Lucas saying its word and definition with comic speech bubbles. He became smart, sarcastic, cunning. Most of the time, my doodles didn’t have time for extra details like his once sharp teeth or the shine in his eyes. So he looked more and more sinister over time. And this week (I forgot what day I drew him) I decided to run with it.
Anyways art drop:

I hope he looks as menacing as he looks pretty…
