I’m very new to this platform but it is genuinely so awesome.
Of course im a teen, blah blah blah, I wouldn’t understand cause I wasn’t alive during the older days or whatever. But honestly? This is amazing. I also find it funny when im on here and my mom makes a comment on how it looks like myspace(my moms just cool like that)(I love her very much)
I love seeing people. Unfiltered raw emotions from actual people and not that professional detachment. I love seeing people put actual humanity in things, show off those flaws that make us us. I love seeing people’s different aesthetics, their interests, their blogs, because it shows off the ways they’re human. Emotional. Relatable.
It reminds me of when I first made my Neocities. I actually wanted to code shit and I loved looking at the other websites people built with their own two hands. People are artists. It makes me so happy to see the way we express ourselves. Joining this place has given me motivation to do just that, as well as fix a few things on my own Neocities.
Sorry for the rant that probably no one will bother reading, just wanted to get it out there! ^_^

Same, I just join yesterday searching for band tees and came across this and it looked so sick. I’m enjoying this very much and always wonder how it was during the MySpace era and just overall 2000s-2010s. I’m a teen myself so, experiencing this, means a lot
