I'm already getting a pretty good impression of this website - first day of actually using this it and I've gotten friend requests, that's really nice. 

I was gonna ask "So are friend requests more normal here?" but then I thought it was kind of a stupid question, isn't one of the main points on this platform finding people like you? Also I feel like people have gotten a lot less social - honestly I don't blame them (like, so have I XD) friend requests *should* be normal, it's welcoming (obviously if u prefer not having any connections on platforms with random people, that's fine too, and safer actually) but friend requests have just become a bit more feared than inviting for people, I feel like. Sending them, I mean.. And that's a bit sad. And from my perspective this happens irl as well. 

But maybe that's just the people I've been surrounded with more lately. I went to London not so long ago (my birth country) and people were SUPER social there. So maybe it's just from my perspective.
