RETURNED FROM FRANCE

so... now I have officially been to the infamous europe. (france, specifically)

let me give you the Run Down.

1 - do not go to versailles, it is not worth it, marie antoinette is dead and they don't even have drag performers imitating her (missed opportunity), also there are too many portraits of old white guys with wigs like who cares dude

2 - promenade plantée is a cute park built on an abandoned railway

3 - go to antique and thrift stores (although I imagine this applies no matter where you are in the world, they are just so cute)

4 - beware of the french carrying baguettes, a known weapon, they will bludgeon you.

5 - if you don't speak french they'll bludgeon you harder, I can't advise this.

I can't personally recommend or even describe paris since I avoided it like the plague.

milly-la-forêt has a cute market every saturday. ate a wicked donut there. also jean cocteau's house is cute, I don't really care about the guy but it was neat to see anyhow.

transit was pretty good besides a few things:

- if you are travelling to the airport make sure you buy an airport specific transit pass because they will fine you a ton if they catch you without it

- where I was in the countryside (essonne) I generally noticed there was not much for accessibility

did I enjoy it? overall, yes... would I go again? no idea.

also the food is good as hell. if you eat the bread be warned that you may never again see north american bread the same...
