the film prison

I have been shooting with film for a few years now and i love it. its fuciing annoying but i do it happily with i do anything to preserve memories. rn im using a canon prima zoom XL and i found that using kodak good 200 iso gives me great results, i might even go down to 100 since my dad pointed out some pics were overexposed but whatevs - the point is the prices are getting ridiculous. In the store a roll of film is 20 fucking euros. 20 EUROS. and then i shoot it and develop it and that is another 11 or so euros. and then i have to print it separately which is another 13 euros. Shooting 1 roll of film sets me back around 45 big boys which is a stupid amount. Yes i can buy them slightly cheaper online, but then i also run the risk of them coming from another country and possibly being subject to an x ray. That is another annoying thing, I cant being them from elsewhere or even take them with my while travelling bc at the airport they go through the scanner and that fucks up the film even if they promise u it doesn't do NOT listen to them. sadly u have to buy and develop film at every locaton you travel to.

Anyways i am just so annoyed at how complicated and expensive this has to be. I hve thought of home developing but then i wouldnt have digital copies and i really like to collect both formats. rant over
