It can sometimes be a little confusing where files actually are. Like, when I AirDrop photos and media to the iPad and it doesn't go in the Downloads folder like it would on a Mac. Just slightly off. Dang.

For the record, I'm almost certain the designated Airdrop folder within the Files app should be the same folder you have set as the Downloads folder in your primary browser. (Might just be whatever you have set as Safari's in Apps ⇨ Safari ⇨ Downloads

The following from the user guide is... (fucking insane) ... but good to know:
