the human body confuses me, the loose ideas we tie to it, what do we consider beautiful? how can we say anyone is beautiful knowing that our appearance is a mere veil covering eternally rotting flesh, bone, blood, and messy organs. all slowly breaking down as we all march towards the end unwillingly, how do we see a fellow walking sack of skin and gross organs and fluids and feel the urge to spend eternity with them? how do we think that's beautiful and poetic? why do we consider young and skinny to be ideal? our bodies are fighting, how do we see people who can barely breathe "beautiful"? we are all rotting, and I think that's the true beauty of it all, why do we have a personality? or why are we expected to have just 1 "personality"? I feel like I've changed my way of seeing the world, interests, behaviour, and goals in like about 5 times while writing this, honestly idk how to wrap this up in a way that is even close to something poetic, for I struggle to see the use in hiding emotions in pretty words. So to be true to myself I shall end this in the closest to my idea of "true"Β Β

I get what you mean. Everyday I have to eat, drink, go to the restroom and I wonder: When will we be free from theses cages of flesh? There is nothing truly appealing about us...we're so fragile. I intend to live a full, meaningful life of course, but I can't help but wonder how we would look if all gold, all hair, all briefcases vanished and we were just souls floating around. Would we be happier then?

Kinda off topic but Kinda on the topic about "what people deem beautiful" thing but I showed my body type on tiktok one time and someone commented "ew" lol it was very funny considering his user was something dealing with a mommy fetish
