Due to a trend that emerged a while back, I discovered a painting that seems very interesting to me.
I just wanted to share it with yall!Β
Self-Portrait with Death Playing the Fiddle byΒ Arnold BΓΆcklin
It touches on the topic of mortality and, from my understanding (if I said something incorrect - be nice, pls), the premise is that Death always reminds us that it exists. Someday, whenever we are, it will come back to take our souls (in this case, primarily the authors').Β
If you read all of that (or just wanna talk thru this post), tell me what you think about this painting!

Nah but fr i have a friend whoβs like truely afraid of dying but I understand, like , wdym I live and then Iβm not alive anymore I donβt understand welp
I see the final destination vibe - like, whatever you do, you will meet your demise.
I'm sorry that your friend feels this way about the topic of death - I mean, it must be kinda tiring in the long run :(
Even though I treat death like something inevitable and let's say natural (like 'part of nature and order of things' way) I understand your friend' POV.
