you could archive the posts in a way, disabling comments, or screenshotting them and keeping them for personal reasons, ect. you could also make them link-only or friends-only? if it'd be comfortable with you.
i can see something likely happened to end up with ownership of a once-shared account, and i'm sorry about whatever might've gone down.
