Sherlock entry I made in May

I’m overly obsessed with something new and it's evident in almost everything I do now. I really want this to last more than a month but realistically I know It’s probably going to die out once I'm done watching it, and fanfics aren’t enough to fuel the fire anymore. Why am I like this? 

Anyways, It's Sherlock - specifically the 2010 BBC series…yes, the queerbaiting one…..

My introduction to the series was through my English class, as Sherlock is our current topic and my teacher likes the series so tecccchnically it can pass as classwork. I was absent for the watching of the first half of episode 1 (the episodes have a runtime of 90 mins) but the second half along with a brief rewatch of the first 20 mins was enough for me to come to a questionable conclusion - Are Sherlock and Watson gay? Not only that but I liked Sherlocks wit tied in with his sarcastic remarks. By the time we were watching the Second episode I decided I was going to watch it in my own time too. 

Admittedly, I was motivated to watch the series out of curiosity to see if Watson and Sherlock become romantically involved, EVEN ONE KISS COULD HAVE DONE but after doing background research (watching edits on tiktok) I came to the discovery that there's none of that BUT a lot of “close calls” so I decided that was enough for me to be interested. (also lol im writing this with a playlist on shuffle and ykwtdtgluip by MCR came on this is so convenient) 

I am very compelled to make an edit of Sherlock and Watson to bang the doldrums because IT TOTALLY FUCKING WORKS HELLLLOOOOOO aswell as write the occasional oneshot fanfic…(I’ve literally never considered this when obsessed with a show you have to understand how major this must be for me.) 

I'm up to EP1 S3 right now, Sherlock is back - John is pissed and his soon-to-be-wife Mary keeps making gay innuations between the two. I thought I'd hate Mary for “getting in the way” of my otp (admittedly, I can be one of those fans sometimes) but I’mactually quite fond of her so far, she's got a sense of humor and understands both John and Sherlock sides also she's one of the most gorgeous women Johns gone out with by far, I love her hair. I have heard some things about her fate though which worries me. 

But aside from her, almost everyone - EVERY WOMAN has made remarks about Sherlock and Watson's supposedly gay relationship to the point where despite knowing, I still question if anything is going to happen. Regardless of the outcome it's still all so funny, especially in season three’s first episode when Ms Hudson (the landlord/owner of the flat S&W live in) and Watson are talking and he brings up how he’s involved with somebody new, Ms Hudson goes: “Oh that's wonderful! What's HIS name?” with a smile on her face which Watson automatically switches moods to testify (once again!) that he is NOT gay (for anyone but sherlock). 

Also House (2004) is a (shitty) Sherlock AU where he's a smartass Doctor. It's soooo disgustingly obvious and horribly executed. IDGAF if it won awards.
