Bring Back Flip Phones Pls

ok so like... can we PLEASE talk about how flip phones were actually peak technology??? idc what anyone says, those lil button phones were ICONIC.
like— yeah, they didn’t have Wi-Fi, apps, or HD cameras, but they had ✨vibes✨. and sometimes that’s all u need.

• calls & texts only? perfect.
• games like snake & tetris? elite.
• low-quality blurry selfies? ART.
• slamming it shut when u were mad? THERAPY.

brooo the designs back then were unreal. glittery pink razrs, shiny metallic blues, transparent plastic covers, charm straps hangin’ off the antenna... it was giving 2005 baddie >.<

 even the sound they made when u flipped them open?? chef’s kiss.

i had a touch phone back then (samsung gang lol), but tbh i feel like i missed out. now that i’m older (17 lol don’t @ me) i appreciate all that cute, retro, low-tech stuff way more. i’m out here scrolling ebay at 1am like "hmm should i get a hello kitty flip phone??" the answer is always yes. 

 these days phones r just... screens. boring lil rectangles. everything looks the same. the fun is gone.

 social media is a mess.

 everything’s way too connected.

we’re always online but no one talks fr anymore.

what if we just... deleted all the apps, threw our smartphones into a drawer, and went back to buttons, charms, and IRL convos at the mall food court?? no tiktok, just you, your bff, and a bedazzled nokia playing mp3s at full volume. tell me that doesn’t sound better.

so yeah. justice for flip phones. (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)
