Lucy's Survey

(This is an edited copy of a bulletin I decided to turn into a blog).

Decided to do one of the ever famous SpaceHey "survey" things. You guys can get to know me my digital friends, acquaintances, and stalkers. 

If any of my answers evoke the desire for you to talk to me about any of these topics, feel free to message.

Also, I didn't like a whole lot of survey formats on their own for various reasons, so I kinda merged a lot of them into my own thing.

How Old Are You:  21.

Astrological Sign:  Leo Sun, Pisces Moon, Pisces Rising, Virgo Mercury, Gemini Venus, Leo Mars.

Current Location:  Missouri, America.

Your Strengths: Im unreasonably honest (to a fault if you are to ask some). Part of being honest is being authentic, and vice versa. I like to think im pretty intelligent, people tell me I am, but you know, stupid people think they're smart too. My sense of humor is ironic, satirical, a bit dry, and sometimes "dark", but I like to make people laugh when I can.

Your Aspirations: A better world, whatever that may look like. Doing charity work or something ecological. Healing myself of my physical ailments enough to go to college. Creating massive directories and databases for things I like. To read and experience an ungodly amount of things in my life, artistic and otherwise. 

Your Weaknesses: Uhh? I dunno man. Being over-prideful. Depressive personality. Being too blunt to the point of being rude, maybe. My leg with nerve damage. Humid heat. Intelligent, beautiful women😔.

Your Fears: That humanity may never save itself from the many hells it creates. That my struggle may amount to nothing. That my low-class heritage will ultimately define and decide much of my fate in life. That I will always be too incomprehensible for others to understand, that I have no true kin with anyone.

Appearance-Based Questions:

Height: 6'3". Used to be 6'4", but apparently the estrogen shrank me.

Eye Color: Emerald green eyes.

Hair Color: Brunette. Have natural highlights though. 

Piercings & Tattoos: Only have my ears pierced right now. At some point I intend to get a medusa. I also have no tattoos, but I really want a Momento Mori themed tattoo.

Your Best / Favorite Physical Trait: Probably my hips and general build. I have the build of a sleek dagger, except for my hips, which were apparent even before my transition, but readily so now. 

Special Interests & Passions:

Music Taste: A lot of Doom Metal. Metal in general though, and a lot of goth genres as well (post-punk, deathrock, darkwave, etc). I also listen to a bit of jazz, rap, classical, orchestral, and other forms of rock too. Really no genre is off limits for me. No, not even country is off limits (if it isn't washed up stadium country-rock).

Bands & Musicians: Too damn many, you can look at some of it on my RateYourMusic.

Favorite Video Game: I am a slut for FromSoft games😔. Bloodborne may always be my favorite game, it feels like it was there for me in a dark time in my life; when I was reeling from trauma and PTSD, it was there. That feels silly to say, but still. 

Favorite Movie: Probably this movie called The Fountain, by the same guy who made Requiem For A Dream and Black Swan. 

Favorite Show & or Anime: Really hard to answer this, I really love this anime called Mushi-Shi (its a lot like Mononoke, if anyone has seen that). Also really love Madoka Magica, like any self-respecting tgirl sapphic. 

Favorite Book: Frankenstein... probably. I really think it excels even above much other high literature. So much is contained in its pages. Truly an example of the idea that fiction better represents much of reality compared to non-fiction since fiction better engages the human condition. (Also really like DUNE though, maybe that)

Favorite Manga: Berserk really sucked me in, I couldn't stop reading it when I did. That answer feels too trite though, and I am not even sure its true, anyways. Chainsaw Man, I think, has done some of the most artistic things with the medium I have ever seen. I really love BLAME! and Beastars too. God knows.

Any Physical Media Music Recordings: I own a few vinyls, a few CDs (probably going to be buying these from now on mostly), and a lot of cassette tapes. 

Friends & Partners:

Traits You Like In Partners: All of the above, as I also want my partner to be my best friend, to be someone I can talk to like a friend and like a partner, a romantic partner as well as a business partner. I also value compassion and kindness in their heart, a softness. It usually helps to bring those traits out in me. I also like having good chemistry, I am a massive flirt so being able to keep up with my weird and witty flirting style is important.

Pet Peeves: You guessed it: Dishonesty. I also feel peeved when people feel empty; hobbyless, passionless, soulless, just letting life and its beauty, its horrors too, pass them by. 

Do You Like Cuddling: Yess😌. 

Misc:

Sense of Fashion: Kind of depends. I wear a lot of black, lots of "whimsical" clothes, so you might say Whimsi-Goth. Sometimes I dress just downright slutty though.

Any Disabilities: I have an impaired leg. I guess I also have autism and a lot of sensory issues, especially auditory ones, but ehh, I think of it less like a disability. 

How Many Languages Do You Know: Only English, unfortunately. Really ironic since I love linguistics. I hope to change this, someday.

Ever Broke The Law Intentionally: Its something of a hobby for me. 

Ever Had A Surgery: A few times, mostly related to the impaired leg mentioned above.

Beliefs:

Religious / Spiritual Beliefs & Identity: I don't have any identity, though I am these things. I think its best not to strive for too much identity in regards to religion and spirituality. My belief are somewhat eclectic, anyways.

Political Beliefs & Identity: Identity isn't necessarily good here, but I am basically a Communist / Marxist. If only because my ideals are that a Communist (defined here as stateless, moneyless, classless) society can and should come into existence for the long term. I am a Marxist since I think the Marxist method of analysis of the material conditions is useful, practical, and worthwhile. 

Do You Believe Extra-Terrestrial Aliens Exist: Absolutely. I think its quite obvious with even just a bit of sleuthing, and even more so if you go a bit deeper than that.
